heres to 13 years of friendship and to 5 years of bestfriendship :)

i love how we behave like we're married. squabbling, scolding, laughing at, commanding, making fun, with/of each other :) love the way we can talk about our past memories like the time we tried to go to sentosa and got drenched and ended walking around orchard road sharing a bright pink towel (ha ha) .. the times we tried to bake brownies/cookies for teachers day and end up making a mess of the moulds ( for e.g. the glasses i made for laoshi ended looking like a bra!) and putting the flour and chocolate on each other.. the times your parents went overseas and you would camp in my house for more than a week! how you would steal my pillow or worse still lie right on top of me as though I AM the pillow ( ha ha) .. or the times when i would go ALL the way to the east (!!) just to eat ur mom's cooking (pig's stomach/ bak kuteh) which she specially cooks just for ME :) .. all the times we laugh about secret jokes .. all the late night phone conversations .. the lessons back in mg where you would make fun of the way i can't run down stairs but you'll help me queue up to get food cos i'm so scared i'll fall down running down! haha .. back in AC where we would have our 1-1 recesses every thursday .. the times when we ended up watching trashy shity scary jap/korean movies and then complain non-stop after! .. ayes this list goes on and on and on. AND of cos when we celebrated in good results.. or comfort each other through the tough times. thanks for holding my hand, encouraging me, praying for me and always believing in me and trusting me.

so much has happened this past 5 years of our bestfrenship. and i'm so glad you were the one right beside me all this while. okay this ain't some proposal we don't have to get married (ha ha) but yah its just myway of saying THANK YOU bestfriend or more affectionately pardiepardx. i'm sorry i lost our engagement ring we should buy one again okay? i hope you had a blast today! and that you were actually SURPRISED! (ha ha) and that you love your shoes:) i only buy shoes for special people ;)

anyways the TEAM did well today!

team 1 : myself and weijie. met up in town to get bels shoes! (and uhh got myself a new pair too oops) then got the birthday girl to pick us up and bring her to her house. haha.

so while bel was happily showering .. weijie helped me to hook on all the ornaments. left the shoes on the floor outside her room. when she came out of the shower i presented her with my collage of pictures of us and her card and said : sorry dear! kinda broke this year.. your birthday present will come soon! haha. so yah only when she was gonna leave her room and opened the door did she see the shoes on the floor and the ornaments! (MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!)

team 2: the girls. dinner at gya kaku some jap restaurant at chijmes. was really fun catching up with the babes and cooking foooooood! haha. stef kept fighting with me.
haha thats the stups dentist and i fighting all night during dinner ! ha ha
oh the surprise here wasnt much.just sarah and bev weren't supposed to make it for dinner but they did ! so hip hip huray!! ha ha

team 3: i called them the stb! surprise team bel! comprised of her smu frens. the original plan was to surprise bel at the big christmas tree outside raffles city. however due to unforseen circumstances .. like weiren ordering water for everyone at the last min while having desserts at menotti so we had to wait for the water! haha. so then it shifted to the fountain inside raffles city. (my excuse was nicer background to take picture!) THENN audrey had to scare me and say no they were hiding behind two shops at some uob thing iwa slike HUHH!!? next thing i knew i hear some voice calling out to christina i turn myhead to the left and theres audrey's head popping out from behind some advertisement hahhhahahah and then she and jan removed the advert thingy and shouted SURPRISE!! ahhaha the candles were almost gone!
yay! MISSION IMPOSSIBLE THREE ACCOMPLISHED haha
